Night out without the hangover

With the festive season about to get into full swing, most people know they will experience a hangover or two over the coming weeks. But a restaurant in Leeds claims to have found a solution for those who want to enjoy a drink at Christmas - without the headaches.

Casa Mia Grande in Harrogate Road, Chapel Allerton is serving Kardio Fulax, which is said to combat hangovers and allergic reactions because it does not contain sulphites, a chemical used by winemakers to give products a longer shelf life.

Only 3,090 bottles of Kardio Fulax were produced in Italy this year and restaurant owner Francesco Mazzella has bought 300 bottles, complementing his exsisting stock of Kardio Fulax Red.
