Gourmet Evening and Wine Tasting

Following the success of our recent Kardio Fulax Evenings at Casa Mia Grande we have decided to hold further 'Evenings of Fine Food and Wine' on the Following Dates:

Thursday 28th February

Friday 29th February

Both dates in February will be hosted by Michelin starred chef Nino Di Castanzo.

Thursday 11th April

Friday 12th April

The evening will commence at 7.30pm with a champagne reception which will be followed by a luxury six course meal along with a different glass of some very special wines with every course.

Wine experts from Casa Mia, as Well as professional sommeliers and representatives from the different vineyards are on hand to discuss the production af the superb wines and to provide detailed tasting notes to accompany each course. As an Italian I consider matching wine and food to be an art. This art is expressed perfectly in the healthy Mediterranean diet, where it is completed by special products which, just like wine, are expressions of a region that has been successfully dedicated to agriculture for hundreds of years. In reviving the age-old values of this regions culinary art we aim to prepare for our guests some of these traditional recipes with a slightly contemporary twist. And of course the recipes will be ideally complemented by the regional  wines. We are even flying a over the respectively wine makers to introduce their unique wines.

The evening will be hosted by Francesco and Marta along with a representative of each vineyard who will  be on hand to pass on his expertise about producing, recognising and of course tasting quality wines.

Prices include a six course meal and a glass of wine with every course.
